Exuctive Coaching

The word coaching can be traced back to a Hungarian word ‘kocsi’ meaning carriage. It was the name associated with an efficient and sophisticated mode of transport for carrying people. It was circa 1830’s that the term coaching made its way into the realms of development. Professors and Tutors at Oxford University were seen to be effectively working with students to ‘carry’ them through their exams. In more recent years the term coaching became identifiable for a similar effect in the realms of sport and ultimately business strategy.

Coaching becomes a powerful method to ensure leadership principles and development programs are successfully taken to a greater level of awareness, action and follow through. Unique skill gaps can be truly be identified and targeted. Coaching, executive coaching or even mentoring may then form one component of an overall approach (alongside methods such as blended live and e-learning) to carve out individual learning pathways.Coaching Programs
